Court Days - Date Calculator for Lawyers App Reviews

Lifesaver

Great program. What an awesome idea.

Cannot go back in time 1> year

Useless for statute of limitations tool. There is no reason to not allow calender to start more than a year back to check for the running of a statutes date. You should update this

Good concept. Poor implementation.

While the calendar function works, the court date calculations do not - at least in Florida. The due dates are shown as long after when actually due under the Rules. If you rely upon the date calculations, make sure your malpractice coverage is current.

App user representing himself

Have someone on your staff add in all the territories, commonwealths, possessions, trusts, etc into the Juristictions. Especially the Virgin Islands.

Terrific app

Saves tons of times, has all minor dates, great app

This is one great app, but...

I almost gave this app "5 stars". I just sent the developer an email suggesting that the numbers stay populated in the three fields after exiting the program. I hate to re-enter the numbers after each use. Maybe he can add a reset button for those who want a clean slate...

Massachusetts Lawyer - Wheres our state????

Your description is misleading. It says that the app does not include the Massachusetts holidays, but it doesnt even include Massachusetts at all!! Please update with Massachusetts, or refund money. Also, no instructions as to how to use.

Gotta love the new features

The custom holiday feature is great!

3.13 Required

App will not work on iPhone OS versions under 3.13. Thats a real shame. Developer: you should change your target OS settings to iPhone 3.0 under the "Project Settings" screen in XCode. You can still compile against the Base SDK, but youll also support devices all the way back to 3.0.

Great app for lawyers

Love this app. Its great when you are out about and need to count days back or forward for motions or sol. Highly recommend. Also takes into account court closures, holiday and whatever.

Jurisdiction of Puerto Rico?

Does not have the federal or state holidays of Puerto Rico. :-/

I finally gave in, and Im glad I did

I heard about this app a couple of years ago, but for some reason (basic stubbornness, probably) refusing to get it. I mean, hello, Im an attorney, got through law school and everything, calculus before that--yes, I can count just fine, all by myself, thank you very much. But lately Ive started feeling like my head is going to explode if I have to count dates while Im trying to talk to someone--getting old, I guess. Ive played around with it a little now and it seems to work just fine and not be too hard to figure out, so I think this should make life a little easier. Thank you!

Buyer beware

The functionality of this app is different than what is stated in the app description. It is extremely difficult to use and the developer will likely not respond to any questions (at least he has not yet responded to me). That is shameful for an attorney not to respond to another attorney. That should tell you all you need to know. Think twice before buying.

terrible app

i have downloaded over 300 apps and this is the first time, i have written a review - terrible app no purpose to it and I want my money back. itunes should not let an app like this in the store. wow this is bad and I am just a fool for downloading it. it will be last dollar this developer gets from me.

Broken

App never was elegant, but upon iPhone os upgrade, the days between days computer became inoperative. Even when it did work, this app lacked rudimentary functions such as a button to set any date field to today.

Quick and helpful

Does one thing and does it well.

No longer works!

After the most recent iOS upgrade, the app stopped working. Do not buy it!!!

Broken App

Does not calculate correctly after latest Software update. Useless app at this time. There has been nothing done to correct the problem.

App doesnt Work

The app stopped working after the last update. Dont waste your money until problem is fixed.

Awesome app for lawyers..

Great little reference tool.. Very easy to use.. 5 big stars..
